Feeding Recommendations

Your cat has a very short digestive system in comparision to other carnivorous animals. That means your cat must be able to absorb the nutrition from his food in a very short period of time. For this reason your cat's food needs to be very easily digestable.

The uniquely processed fresh ingredients in Bil-Jac Kitten Food provide a precise balance of nutrients that can be digested easily. Your cat will receive maximum benefit from this food. You'll be able to see the results in many ways including a cleaner, more odor-free litter box.

We recommend a scheduled portion-controlled method of feeding Bil-Jac Kitten Food. For young kittens during weaning, 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 weeks old, moisten Bil-Jac with warm water. After weaning, until your kitten is 5 to 6 months old, divide the daily feeding recommendation into 3 meals per day. After 6 months until your kitten reaches maturity, divide the daily feeding recommendation into 2 meals per day. Fresh water should be kept available at all times.
